How to Use EZ Drummer
- 1). Launch EZ Drummer.
- 2). Open "Project Settings." In the "Project BPM" field, type in the amount of beats per minute you want for your song.
- 3). Fill in the "Time signature" field. Assign a value for this field, whether it's 3/4 time, or 4/4 time, or another designation you wish to use.
- 4). Scroll down to "Timebase for Events." Place "Measures. Beats" or "Measures. Beats (M.S. Secondary)" from the pop up menu. Use the latter if you want to keep track of the length of your project.
- 5). Add the EZ Drummer plug-in. Click on the "fx" button for your track.
- 6). Audition the Groove Library. Click on EZDrummer's "Open Grooves" button. Make a selection in each of the four columns you will see on your screen. Then press "Play."
- 7). Begin building your groove. Press "Play" again to stop the auditioning process.
