How To Achieve Success: Stay Focused
A common human desire is success. Eighty percent of people never achieve success. Why? Two reasons: They don't have a personal definition of success, and/or they don't stay focused.
People get exactly what they expect. Sadly, most peoples' expectation is failure. Their expectation activates the Law of Attraction, and they attract exactly what they focus on: failure.
Rather than spending their time looking for ways to succeed, they focus on ways to fail. They complain, they worry, they think up one thousand reasons for something not to work. They focus on what they don't want rather than what they do want.
Define What Success Means to You
What do you want out of life? What do you want to accomplish? What do you want your legacy to be? Answer these questions and you will see a purpose begin to take shape. Maybe subconsciously you knew what your purpose was, but you were afraid to acknowledge it, or maybe you didn't feel worthy enough to pursue it.
Make a Plan
Most people don't plan to fail; they just fail to plan. Success is the steady, progressive realization of a purpose. Without a purpose you can never have success. Without a destination you can never start a journey. Without some standard you cannot measure your progress.
The first step, then, is to map out what you want to accomplish. Plan it out, and write it down. A written plan gives you a point of reference and a measure of your progress. And it gives you a reminder to stay focused.
Focus on the Purpose
The second step is to change your expectation. Believe in the Law of Attraction and understand how it operates. Believe that you are worthy of success. Start expecting good things to happen in your life. Expect the best, do what needs to be done to make it happen, and have faith that it will happen.
Step three: magnetize your mind. Think about your purpose night and day. Keep a reminder in front of you. Don't let your mind get distracted. Decide that failure is not an option. You do attract what you expect. Start believing or expecting you will accomplish your purpose.
Nothing stays the same. You will have to adapt and improvise. You may have to try harder, alter your approach, or acquire more specialized knowledge. But those changes will be a small price to pay. Constantly compare what you are doing to what you need to be doing. Don't let distraction steal your focus.
Focus is the key to personal achievement.
