How to Put Pillow Cases Together
- 1). Lay out flat an old pillow case that fits the pillows in question.
- 2). Measure the length and width of the pillow case with a measuring tape.
- 3). Add 1 inch to the short edge of the measurements and 4 inches to the longer edge.
- 4). Cut out two rectangles of fabric using the measurements that you found in Step 3.
- 5). Line up the two new rectangles of fabric pattern side together.
- 6). Sew along the two long edges and one of the short edges, binding the two rectangles together. The remaining loose edge is the opening of the pillow case.
- 7). Fold the loose edge down twice and stitch it flat. This creates a finished edge.
- 8). Turn the pillow case inside out. It is now ready to use.
