How Do I Add Cheap Luggage to a Kawasaki KLR 650?
- 1). Place the tank bag onto the fuel tank, setting the neoprene padding on the bottom of the bag firmly onto the tank's surface. Pull the bag's hooked bungee cords around the side of the fuel tank and hook them onto the motorcycle's frame. Shake the bag slightly to test its stability. Reposition the bungee hooks, as needed, until the tank bag is securely fastened to the fuel tank.
- 2). Lay the middle flap of the saddlebags onto the motorcycle's luggage rack. Wrap the saddlebags' mounting straps around the edges of the luggage rack, slipping the ends of each strap into their loops to secure them to the rack. Clip each strap latch onto the corresponding latch on the saddlebags. Tighten the straps, as needed, to cinch the saddlebags against the luggage rack. Pull on the bags slightly to test their stability. Tighten or reposition the saddlebags' straps, as necessary, until they are fastened securely to the luggage rack.
- 3). Place the tail bag over the luggage rack and the middle flap of the saddlebags, setting the neoprene padding on the bottom of the bag onto the rack. Pull the bag's hooked bungee cords around the luggage rack. Cross the cords over to the opposite sides of the rack and hook them onto the rack. Shake the bag slightly to test its stability. Reposition the bungee hooks, as needed, until the tank bag is securely fastened to the luggage rack.
