- 1). Click "Start," type "cmd" in the search field and press "Enter" to open the Command Prompt.
- 2). Type "gpedit.msc" (without the quotation marks) into the Command Prompt and press "Enter" to open the Group Policy Editor.
- 3). Click "Local Computer Policy," "Computer Configuration," "Administrative Templates," "Windows Components" and Internet Explorer in the left pane.
- 4). Double-click "Turn Off the Security Settings Check Feature" and select "Enable."
- 5). Close the Group Policy Editor.
