Does Picasa Work With Mozilla Firefox?
- When you shoot a lot of pictures with a digital camera or cellphone, or scan printed photos into your computer, they can add up in a hurry. It's important to organize your images if you want to be able to easily browse and find the ones you want to look at. For example, you might want to manage your vacation photos by saving them in a separate folder or album for each year, or gather pictures of your family in one album and college buddies in another album.
- Picasa is Google's free online photo management service. You sign up for an account, and then upload and store your images on Picasa's server, which enables you to access your pictures from any computer that's connected to the Internet. Use Picasa Web Albums to organize your photos, share them with your friends and family, and make slideshow presentations.
- Firefox is a free Web browser made by Mozilla. You can import bookmarks from another browser on your computer, and add new bookmarks for websites, such as Picasa, to make it easy to load pages that you frequently visit. Open pages in new browser windows or in a series of tabs in a single browser. For example, you could open Picasa in one tab, and use a second tab to load a search engine and do some research.
- Launch Firefox on your computer. Go to the Picasa website at picasaweb.google.com. Type your email address in the "Email" box, and then type your password in the "Password" box. Click the "Sign In" button to access your Picasa account. Click "My Photos" to see your photo albums. Click "Upload" when you want to transfer new photos to your Picasa collection.
