Blair decides to take the initiative and put her energy into helping her mom with the Waldorf fashion show, and at first Blair is feeling good about it because her mom is appreciative.
After organizing the seating chart to her mothers Jenny suggests adding Serena and her new celebrity friends to the front row.
Knowing Blair is going to be upset about breaking their backstage tradition, Serena resists at first, but her new friends talk her into it.
Once Blair finds out that Jenny was the one to change her seating chart, Blair begins the scheming up ways to get back at her.
Realizing that Jenny is lying to her mother about her work study, Blair goes to the Headmistress of the school to find out why Jenny has not been in class.
With the information she was looking for Blair heads to Jennys place to drop what she knows in Rufus lap.
Hardly believing her Rufus decides to call the headmistress himself and then tracks down Jenny who tries to make excuses for missing the two weeks of school that she has.
Rufus takes Jenny home and informs her that she has a meeting with the headmistress in the morning so that she can remain in school.
In the meantime, Dan is having a hard time finding anything worthwhile to write about for his Dartmouth essay.
In an attempt to get out of his comfort zone Dan decides to take on Chuck and his life for a new character.
Chuck ends up taking Dan out to his favorite hangouts and when he offers him booze and drugs Dan goes along with it, but in a turn of events Chuck drops Dan off in the middle of NYC shoeless and without his cell.
Back in Manhattan, Blair and Serena begin fighting over where they are going to watch the fashion show, and Serena tells Blair she has decided to watch from the front row.
Blair tries to send Serena to the back row at the last minute, but Mrs.
Waldorf steps in and tells Blair to stay out of the way.
Knowing that Jenny is in charge of the models, Blair schemes to have the models sent away to another show, but Jenny comes to the rescue again and suggests using socialites in attendance as models instead.
Dan and Chuck end up in jail after Dan finds out what he needs to make a believable character out of Chuck.
But when Chuck finds out he is being used, he leaves Dan in prison to find a way to make bail on his own.
Blair sends Serena out in Jenny's dress for the finale and when Jenny realizes it she tells Blair that all she ever wanted was to be her friend.
When Mrs.
Waldorf realizes that it is not her dress on the runway, Blair helps pave over the whole mix-up and because the dress is a huge success it all works out for the best.
Until Jenny's dad realizes that she dropped out of school.
When Rufus confronts her about school, Jenny informs him that she is not going back.
Looks like there is a new bad girl on the block now.
