Clothing consignment stores usually offer a few options: cash for your items on the spot -- the fastest way to get money, but the amount you get often is less; store credit, in which a cashier will decide on a combined price and then issue you a store credit -- a great option if you see lots of items in stock that you may want to purchase, or if you are a store regular; consignment only, in which you sign an agreement with the store that lists their selling, pricing and payment policies, and you are paid when the items sell. - 2). Gather up all your items to sell. You may want to use more than one consignment store, depending on the items you have. Baby clothing and toys may sell better at a store that specializes in them; the same is true for upscale or vintage fashions, or home furnishings.
