- 1). Plug the 3.5mm end of the adapter into the "Line Out" port on the computer. This is usually the port you either connect computer speakers or headphones into.
- 2). Attach the RCA audio cables running from the Hi-Fi speaker into the RCA side of the adapter.
- 3). Power on the speakers (if it has a direct power source; if not the speakers draw power off of the computer).
- 4). Double-click the audio icon in the lower right corner of the desktop, then deselect any muted option and click "OK." The audio is now produced by the connected Hi-Fi speakers.
