- 1). Park your Datsun 280Zx on a flat surface and turn off the engine. Apply the parking brake and move to the the front of the car.
- 2). Open the hood and go to the back of the burned out headlight. Locate the electrical connection at the back of the headlight assembly that connects the light to the car's electrical system.
- 3). Unplug the cord and then locate the bulb. Twist the bulb to the left to loosen and remove it from the socket. Dispose of the old bulb appropriately.
- 4). Screw in the replacement bulb by turning it to the right. Be sure not to over tighten it. Reconnect the cord and close the trunk.
