    • 1). Place the bottle of Shellac on its side on a flat surface and roll it gently back and forth. This will blend the ingredients in the bottle.

    • 2). Unscrew and remove the cap from the bottle to reveal the applicator brush. Drag the brush against the inside of the bottle's neck to expel any excess nail polish from the bristles.

    • 3). Place the tip of the applicator brush at the cuticle line of the nail on the pinkie finger. Swipe the brush in a single stroke up past the tip of the nail.

    • 4). Place the tip of the applicator brush at the cuticle line just to the left of the first brush stroke; the left edge of the brush should be flush with the left cuticle wall of the nail. Swipe the brush in a single stroke up past the tip of the nail. Fill in the right side of the nail with the same stroke to finish coating the entire nail.

    • 5). Continue painting all of the nails on one hand with a single coat of Shellac nail polish.

    • 6). Rest all five fingernails under a CND UV lamp until the first coat of nail polish has completely dried.

    • 7). Paint a second coat of Shellac nail polish on each of the nails of the hand.

    • 8). Rest all five fingernails under the CND UV Lamp until the second coat of nail polish has completely dried.

    • 9). Paint the nails of the second hand with Shellac nail polish. Allow nail polish to dry completely under the CND UV Lamp after each coat.
