Tips - Tree Stand Placement
A big thing about finding out where to put your tree stand is scouting.
Without scouting then how do you expect to know where the deer are moving through in that area or where the best spots are to see monster bucks.
I definitely think every hunter must first scout out the territory before hanging their stand.
Another tree stand tip of mine is climbers.
Portable climbers are great because they're not that heavy to carry and take about 15 minutes to set up.
You can go to spots that you've never hunter at before, scout out the area the day before and then pick a good spot, set up your stand, and have a great hunt.
In fact there way easier to set up than a regular wood stand or portable.
I would definitely recommend climbers especially for bow hunters.
My biggest suggestion to anybody with questions regarding tree stand locations however, is to read a hunting book.
Reading hunting books is what made me the avid hunter that I am today.
I read a book called Deer Hunting Secrets Exposed that answered every question that I had.
This is no joke.
Along with that, I'm pretty sure that they give you every little secret and tip about hunting that exists.
Every little thing from gutting a deer, to rattling in a monster buck without getting busted.
How to use scents and calls! You ask it, Deer Hunting Secrets Exposed will answer it for you.
I strongly urge any hunter to read this book to improve your game.
