- 1). Turn on herb tracking by clicking the "Tracking" button and clicking "Find Herbs."
- 2). Visit the Eastern Plaguelands, Western Plaguelands, Silithus and the Burning Steppes to find a Black Lotus. Black Lotuses grow only in these lands, although their location is random. The Black Lotus herb yields one Black Lotus.
- 3). Pick all herbs in the Outland for a chance to find a Fel Lotus. Fel Lotuses, unlike Black Lotuses, are found in all herbs, although rarely. Any herb found in the Outland - except those also found in Azeroth - have a chance of yielding a Fel Lotus.
- 4). Pick herbs in Northrend to acquire a Frost Lotus. Frost Lotuses, similar to Fel Lotuses, can be found in all Northrend herbs. In addition, you can also find Frost Lotus plants in Wintergrasp. Since Wintergrasp is a PvP area, enemy players can attack you while you attempt to locate the herb.
