Is Michelle Bachmann"s GOP Presidential Run a Challenge for Republicans?

103 23
The other day, I was watching news clips of Michele Bachmann who is running for president of the United States under the Republican ticket.
You see, I know that the statements politicians make are generally taken out of context and played in the mass media.
The left leaning liberal media does not like Michelle Bachmann because she is a strong Christian and has a Tea Party leaning.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that the left leaning liberal media hates Michelle Bachmann, but they are doing everything they can to make her look bad on TV.
Personally, I don't see her as a threat to the Democratic Party, but apparently they do.
There is one problem I found and that is that Michelle Bachmann is quite outspoken, and sometimes she says things, which are not exactly accurate, and can easily be taken out of context, thus, making her look like she doesn't know what she's talking about.
Now then, I don't know this individual personally, I've never met her, perhaps I will sometime on the campaign trail when she comes to our city, but I did catch a few of her statements which played on Fox news, which generally puts her in a good light; where she made inaccurate statements.
Now then, I would submit to you that this is a dangerous situation, and if she were nominated for president on the GOP ticket, it could come back and bite her, and destroy her campaign.
It already looks as if the left leaning liberal media is attacking her, and she's not even the strongest contender yet.
Okay so let me ask a question; What happens when "Fact Check dot com" gets done with some of her accusations as the election campaign rages on? Can her credibility survive an entire election cycle? President Obama had made some errors during his run for President, luckily for him the media covered for him, and he had 700 million dollars to overcome any mistakes he made at any of his speech rallies, plus he stuck to the teleprompter and highly prepared material.
What I'm saying to you as a political analyst is that the GOP might be challenged with this particular candidate, and although she appears to be rough on the edges which makes for fun debate, and strengthening the GOP party line, she may have a real challenge as we get into the general election if she wins the nomination for president, or ends up on the presidential ticket.
Please understand I don't have anything against women, and I certainly don't have anything against the GOP.
This is just an observation I'm making, and I have question marks in my mind now about this particular candidate.
Remember in politics perception is the rule.
It is great to see Michelle Bachmann won the Iowa Straw Contest and good for her, but it's a long election road, and she will be challenged and really scrutinized by the competition early and often.
Once those attacks start they will be relentless, I am not sure Michelle Bachmann will be able to handle that.
Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
