  A pram is a very efficient boat for fishing inland lakes and small rivers. It is lightweight, many are car-toppable, and one person can move it around with ease. Once in the water, it is easy to row, and can transport a person quickly to his destination. Furthermore, its maintenance costs are negligible; only a washing every now and then is all that's needed. Marketing and selling your prams are no different than any other product: You have to be astute and satisfy consumer demand for a well-built, seaworthy vessel.

• Take three or four of your prams to boat shows and display them along with your brochures. Paint your prams in bright colors to make them visually attractive, and fly flags on them. If you are making your prams out of fiberglass, extol the virtues of a very low maintenance boat that requires only an occasional hosing-off.

• While most people don't think of this marketing channel, it is an effective way to get the word out that you have prams for sale. There are thousands of sellers of trinkets, but more than likely you will be the only vendor who is selling prams.
