So, why then, does Rousseau's daughter, Alex, who was conceived off the island, call Ben her dad? If he can't possibly be her biological dad? Does that mean that he was at some point off the island?

Or is it because he took Rousseau's baby and raised it as his own, because he is so desperate to have a child?
