Pastor

• Becoming a pastor or minister takes a certain amount of strength and willingness to serve. This is the ultimate missionary position and there are many salaried pastor jobs in the United States, Canada and abroad. A pastor or minister must figure out which branch of Christianity he would like to subscribe to and complete graduate school at a seminary for that particular adherence to faith. With these qualifications, a Christian minister will be able to find salaried positions domestically and abroad.
  
  

Teaching

• Many schools with Christian affiliations hire teachers to help spread the word of Christianity to students in addition to helping them learn secular subjects. Teachers may teach in Christian schools for a salaried position or go abroad and teach in other Christian institutions. While the requirements to teach at a Christian school will vary by the location and school doing the hiring, most schools require that the teacher have a commitment to faith and at least an undergraduate degree. If the teacher will be teaching English as a Second Language, a native speaker or someone with a firm grasp on the language often is preferred.
  
  

Music

• Music ministry is a powerful calling for many who would like to mission to their communities domestically and abroad. Churches, both in the United States and elsewhere, often hire someone with a classical musical background to lead choirs of both children and adults that are included in worship. Some salaried music missionaries may also include adults and children in a band for the church or teach others about Jesus and His love through the music they are learning.
  
  

Translation

• Bible companies are often looking for people to translate the Bible into different languages. This is especially necessary for people who are traveling to remote corners of the world and would like to show the Christian Bible to people who do not have knowledge of a "popular" language. Bible translation can also help with the education of future missionaries, as translations of the original texts are often argued about. These positions are usually at a Christian publisher or translating agency and are mostly full-time and salaried.
