Fifteen year old Lindsey create this cool graduation card. She enjoys making cards and even sells her homemade cards!
Here are the instructions Lindsey shared:
- Fold a piece of black paper in half.
- Type “Congratulations”, making the background black and the words white. print it out. you could also use a stamp if you have white ink and black paper!
- Cut out your word. Glue it to white paper and cut around that leaving only about 1/8 of an inch.
- Cut a hat shape out of black paper. Knot 3 pieces of string together and glue them to the top of your hat.
- Glue your hat to white paper. Cut around it then glue it to black paper and cut around that, leaving about 1/4 of an inch. Then glue that to white paper and cut around it leaving only about 1/8 of an inch.
- Glue the hat to the top of your card in the center. glue “Congratulations” under it in the center.
- You need to be able to write inside your card so rip a white piece of paper into a square-ish shape and glue it to the inside of your card. You could also skip this step and just write with a silver sharpie!
- Put your card in an envelope and mail it or give it to your favorite graduate this year!
