Chicago - Schools in Tinley Park, south west suburban are on a lockdown. Wednesday afternoon coming after an early morning home invasion that actuated a manhunt in the sphere.

There are reports that around 4 AM a man called police and said someone was in his house in the 9100 block of Basswood Drive heavy armed. The man who called hid out in the living room and remained the phone with constabulary. The Tribune reports:

" When police arrived, they saw a suspect assaulting a male resident through a window. At least four people are believed to live in the home. As police entered the residence, the suspects broke through windows and doors to escape. One male was caught as he tried to enter a vehicle in the area," Tinley Park Commander Rick Bruno said.

Two residents of the house were gone for Palos Hospital with non life threatening wounds.

Authorities took the suspect into custody about 6:15 AM near at Close 183rd Street and Lenore Lane.

All four suspects are described as African American males. Two are described as 5 foot 7 with an average build and short dark hair. Both were wearing long black T-shirts, black vests and pants. One wore a Yankees baseball hat and the other one was carrying a gun.

Tinley Park schools are on lockdown, students won't be let come out of the buildings until the end of the school time.
