Here are some cooking tips for the dieter.
1.
Use as much flavoring as you want.
Spices are very low in calories and many have homeopathic qualities that actually help in your weight loss.
2.
Cook small portions of meat and load up on the vegetables.
Vegetables are filling and many are low in calories and fat.
3.
Use whole wheat bread and flour when you cook.
Whole wheat contains fewer carbohydrates than white breads and flour.
4.
Steam your vegetables or eat them raw.
Many vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce and spinach are much better for you raw than cooked.
Cooking removes many of the natural nutrients they contain.
5.
Treat yourself to a low fat dessert.
Just because you are on a diet doesn't mean you have to forego dessert.
