- 1). Cut a square piece of fabric measuring 18 inches by 18 inches. Cut two more pieces of fabric measuring 18 inches by 12 inches.
- 2). Fold over 1/2 inch on one long edge of a small fabric piece and hem. Repeat this step on the second small piece.
- 3). Place the large fabric piece on a flat surface with right side up. Place one of the smaller fabric pieces on top (on the left or right side) with wrong side down. Align the long edges together.
- 4). Place the second small fabric piece down at the opposite end of the large piece of fabric. Align the long edges. The second rectangular piece should overlap the first by about 6 inches.
- 5). Pin the edges together and sew. Leave about ½ inch around the seams for allowance.
- 6). Turn the envelope cover right side out. Use the tip of a pencil to push the corners out. Insert the pillow.
