    • 1). Connect your iPod Touch to your computer with the included USB docking cable. The iTouch can connect to any available USB port, indicated by a small image of a trident, appearing on the cable itself and above your USB ports.

    • 2). Open iTunes. If you did not already have this program before you purchased your iTouch, you should have installed it automatically when you configured the device.

    • 3). Click the "iPod" option in the left column of your iTunes software window. The option will include the name of your iPod, which you entered when you configured the device, along with a small image of an iPod Touch.

    • 4). Click the "Photos" tab. You will then see a list of photo programs to which you can sync iPod Touch photos, such as iPhoto, iPod Access Photo or Image Capture. Open one of these programs on your computer to access the photo(s) that you want to delete.

    • 5). Select each image that you want to delete and drag it to your "Recycle Bin" or "Trash." Quit the photo program and return to iTunes.

    • 6). Click the "Photos" tab again and click "Sync" button in the lower right corner of your window. The images will then delete from your iPod Touch, since they no longer appear in the photo program where they were originally stored.

    • 7). Click "Eject," which appears just to the right of the "iPod" image in the left column. You can disconnect your iPod.
