"I Am Sorry I Ever Voted For the Gentleman," He Said
Well, it's already starting to happen, President Obama's approval ratings are now under 50% and going lower each and every day.
The citizens of the United States of America are no longer confident in this young and naive president, former Junior Senator from Illinois, and they are making their voices heard in the polls and surveys being propagated by the media.
As you know, the media loves to build people up, and then tear them down.
President Obama has enjoyed his rise to stardom, but now it's time to pay the piper.
While it is true that his leadership has been rather dismal [in my professional opinion], such as the stimulus package, cap and trade, and the runaway health-care bill, it seems as if many of his devout followers are jumping ship, not even giving him any breaks on those particular failures.
Not long ago, I was at the local Starbucks and someone said; "I am sorry I ever voted for the Gentleman," and then another person standing nearby listening to all this said; "I am sorry anyone voted for him, and fell for that nonsense and PR glitter.
" But then the former Obama supporter tried to rationalize to us why he voted for Obama in the first place and he said that there were no other good choices in the election.
He said that John McCain was too old and not a very good speaker.
He said that Sarah Palen didn't have enough experience.
However, this isn't American Idol and it wasn't a popularity contest.
This was the presidency of the United States of America, the world's only superpower and the greatest nation ever created in the history of mankind.
John McCain is nothing short of an American hero and patriot, he loves this country.
He and his wife are very much Americans.
And Sarah Palin and was one of the only governors with a surplus, and she was a woman who worked herself up to the top, an excellent speaker, and someone who very much cares about our country.
Indeed, the reality is she had much more experience in running government, and in executive leadership than Obama ever "hope" to have.
For all those Obama voters that voted for that gentleman, you have no excuse now.
You cannot rationalize your mistake, and you are going to have to listen to people ridicule you for your poor choices for the rest of your life.
Please consider all this next time you vote.
