Selecting Key Hen Party Games

One of the most obvious differences between a regular night on the town with your friends and a hens party are the hens party games.
Due to this fact, the question is not really whether you play any games but what type of games you will play, how many that will be required and also when you will want to play them.
The first of these steps is to ensure that the hens party games follow your overall theme.
So have a look at the type of bride you have on your hands and ergo what kind of event this will become.
Will it be wild and loud, quiet and leisurely or something in between? Secondly, look at the guests who will be attending and establish the level you will need to aim for throughout the night accordingly.
Thirdly, consider your venue.
In the privacy of your own home then pretty much anything goes, but in a bar setting you may find that at least a few of your guests are a tad quieter and less likely to engage in extravagant behaviour.
On the other hand a bar setting will provide extra entertainment and helps with outside interaction.
Once you have the general direction of the night you can start to look at how many games you will need to play.
In this situation I tend to look at how many guests will be attending and also where we will be spending the event.
If a small number within the home you will need to have more games and activities to keep people entertained, whilst in a bar there is already a lot to distract the other girls so too many hens party games will start to feel cumbersome.
Try to get a mixture of short and sharp games with one longer affair as it does not allow the girls time to get bored.
Finally, look at when you want to play the hens party games.
If you have a gang of girls that do not know one another then I would definitely start the event with an ice-breaker activity that gets the women talking and mingling.
This will create camaraderie and a bond between the girls which will help them to open up and get involved later in the night.
If the women already know one another then anytime works really.
The most important part is to ensure that there is at least one hens party game that focuses on the hen or at the very least leads into a section of the night where people can give their undivided attention to the bride and ensure she feels like the centre of the world.
It is after all her night!
