    • 1). Log in to an account with administrative credentials.

    • 2). Create a password for the additional user account. Click the "Start" button (Windows Vista logo) and then click "Control Panel." Double-click "User Accounts." Click "Manage another account." Click on the account for which you would like to add a password. Click "Create a password." Type a password into the form fields and then create a password hint. Click "Create password" when you are done.

    • 3). View the larger user account icon. Close out each window back to the desktop. Click "Start," then click the small arrow to the right of the picture of the lock on the bottom-right corner of the Start window. Click "Switch User." The Welcome screen appears. Click the icon for which you just added the password. The password login prompt appears and the user account icon is now 128 x 128 pixels in size.
