How to Recover Corrupted Files From a Flash Drive
- 1). Download the demo version of the software by following the link provided in the Resources section at the bottom of the page. Click "Download" and then "Save File" when asked if you would like to save the file.
- 2). Double-click the newly downloaded file. It will appear in either a "Downloads" pop-up window, or as an icon on the desktop. Click "OK" and then "Run" when asked if you would like to run the program.
- 3). Click "Next" when the installation wizard launches, then follow the remaining prompts to complete the installation.
- 4). Plug the flash drive into the computer, and launch "Recovery Toolbox for Flash Drives." Click "Next" when the program starts.
- 5). Select where on the computer you'd like the recovered files to be placed, and click "Next" again. The software will now scan the flash drive.
- 6). Select the corrupt files you wish to recover when the scan has completed, and click "Next." Recovery Toolbox for flash drives will now begin to extract the content from the corrupt files and place them into the desired saving location. Click "Exit" when the process is complete.
