How to Cleanse the Palate After Eating Fried Food
- 1). Take a sip of beer after eating fried foods. Choose a beer that is slightly bitter if the food was not spicy. Drink a crisp pilsner if you ate spicy fried food, or substitute a sparkling water for the beer if you do not drink alcohol.
- 2). Bite into a lime or lemon wedge or squeeze it into your drink to release an acid that refreshes your palate.
