How to Put Wet Clothes Down the Laundry Chute
- 1). Determine if the wet article of clothing is one that will be ruined from a ride down the laundry chute. The laundry chute might be a bit dusty, so a white piece of clothing that is wet might not be good to send down the laundry chute. A pair of blue jeans, however, would make the ride just fine.
- 2). Place wet, light-colored clothing into a plastic bag, such as one from a grocery store, and tie a knot at the top. A laundry bag will also work for this.
- 3). Drop the bag of wet clothing into the laundry chute.
- 4). Launder the wet clothes as soon as possible to avoid mold.
