How to Erase Specific Colors in Illustrator
- 1). Launch Illustrator. Open the document from which you want to erase a specific fill color.
- 2). Click on an object that has the fill color that you want to erase. Illustrator selects the object.
- 3). Click the "Select" menu, then click "Same" and "Fill Color." Illustrator selects all the objects in the document that have that fill color.
- 4). Click the "Window" menu and select "Color." Illustrator pops up a window showing the currently selected color.
- 5). Click the "None" button, which looks like a white box containing a red diagonal line, in the Color window. Illustrator erases the specified fill color from the document.
- 1). Start Illustrator and open the document.
- 2). Click on an object that has the stroke color that you want to erase. Open the "Select" menu, click "Same" and select "Stroke Color."
- 3). Click "Window" and select "Color." Press the "X" key to switch to the stroke color.
- 4). Click the "None" icon in the Color window to remove the selected stroke color from the document.
