How do I Troubleshoot a Portable Whirlpool Washer?
- 1). Check that the right cycle has been selected and the door is securely closed and latched if the dishwasher does not run or stops during a cycle. Make sure you have not overloaded the unit. Check that the water shut-off valve is turned to the "on" position.
- 2). See that the overload protection float is able to move up and down freely if the dishwasher will not fill up properly.
- 3). Check that the water supply is hot enough if the dishwasher runs too long. The unit will run longer if it has to heat the water.
- 4). Replace with a lump-free brand if there is detergent that remains in the dispenser. Check to see if there are any dishes blocking the dispenser door when the dishwasher door is shut.
- 5). Load dishes into your dishwasher to allow for proper drainage if the dishes are not dry by the end of the cycle. Do not overload. Use a rinse aid to help with drying. Check the rinse aid indicator to make sure there is rinse aid in the dispenser.
