- 1). Hold down a scrap piece of flooring on the floor, tight to one side of the door's jamb.
- 2). Lay the hand saw flat on top of the scrap piece of flooring with its teeth facing the door jamb.
- 3). Place one hand on top of the saw's blade and press down so the blade remains flush with the flooring.
- 4). Move the saw back and forth with the other hand cutting the door jamb to the right height. Repeat this process on the jamb on the other side of the door.
- 5). Lay the Swiftlock laminate flooring in the same method as the room, running it under each jamb just enough so you can't see the seam.
