When phoning around the different instructors, maybe ask if it possible to arrange a short practice lesson and from this you will be soon able to tell if you are compatible with your instructor and their teaching style and from this you should be able to decide of you want to take your lessons with them.

Other questions to ask when phoning around the instructors are such things as: the length of the driving lessons, the success rate for the driving school, price of the lessons, if they are flexible for the times of the lessons.
