Rewriting Articles To Promote Your Website
In the following article I want to show you a few steps to help you rewrite your articles. The reason to rewrite article is to get new ideas from other articles and to save you writing a whole new article each time you want to publish on a new directory. It does not take long to rewrite the articles but it is important that you rewrite the whole article so that you can be sure that you have a unique article which will benefit your readers and the search engines like unique material best.
The first step is to read the article that you are planning to rewrite so that you have an idea what it is about!
The second step is to change the headline so that it incorporates the key words that you have chosen to use in your article. The headline still needs to be catchy but you can often just add a word to the headline to give it a new twist, like using the word healthy or how to.
The following step is often ignored. This is to add a sub heading and it is a god way of getting a couple more key words in and capturing the reader's attentiion.
Step number four involves rewriting the introductory paragraph. Here really is is a rewording of the introduction that is necessary so do not worry about how much you alter. The introduction is all about letting the reader know what the article is about.
In step five you can think up a few headings for the article that will work as article parts. Once you have a heading it is far easier to write about each section freely and not feel tempted to copy the article you are rewriting. An article normally has about three to five main paragraphs so finding about three headings is ample.
Another step is to make a list in the middle of your article. Breaking up a paragraph into a list is a good way of changing an article. The list could be a list of features, or symptoms or just a check list.
Next you need to rewrite the last paragraph or the last couple of paragraphs if they are short ones. Here you need to rephrase using related keywords but it is important to stay on topic and not let the use of keywords seem unnatural.
At the end of the article you still need to have a call to action when you are submitting to directories if you are planning on making money with the article. The idea is to drive readers to your website and you want the link in your resource box to help the sites ranking in the search engines. So a few hypnotic words to send them there are worth wihile taking time to write.
Step Nine is to use key words in the article to connect to different articles on your website. If you do this your site will rank higher because the search engine spiders will also count these links when they picks up the article.
Lastly, you should take a few minutes to go through the rewritten article to make sure it reads nicely. Check how well the headline works, whether the sub headings make sense and if the body of the article flows ok. Check that your language does not have a whole lot of poor grammar or spelling errors and make sure that links are working ok.
This is a great way of writing about subjects that you do not know a lot about and gives you perfect unique articles to promote your website with.
