- 1). Insert the CD into the computer.
- 2). Open iTunes.
- 3). Click the CD listed in the "Devices" category positioned on the left side of iTunes.
- 4). Choose "Import Settings" at the bottom of the program and a window will open.
- 5). Click the "Import Using" box near the top of the open window. You can select any of the available options as they're all compatible with iPods. Then, click "OK."
- 6). Select "Import CD" next to the "Import Settings" button. The music will be added to iTunes.
- 7). Eject the CD and plug the iPod into your computer via any of the USB connections on the computer.
- 8). Click the "Music" option that's in the "Library" list on the left side of iTunes.
- 9). Open the album that has the music you transferred from the CD to iTunes.

Select each CD song you want to load onto the iPod and drag the music over to the iPod in the "Devices" list. The music will then be loaded on the iPod.
