Of course it is not a very new game but relatively it is new. It is somewhat a spin-off of ping pong game but played very differently. While it is true that this game uses the ping pong ball but the similarities end there. As the name suggests, beers are involved too.
How Is The Game Played?
The rules of the game are very simple. The first thing you will need to play this game is a ping pong table. You may indeed use any table for this purpose but having a ping pong table especially designed for the games adds more to the fun. Two sets of beer glasses are laid out along the two edges of the table in a triangular arrangement.
The arrangement is such that the base of the triangle is laid out along the edge and the pointed end of the triangle is towards the center. The beer glasses are on the edges across the length of the table and not the width. There are two teams on the either side of the table. The opponent across the table has to throw the ping pong ball towards your side in such a way that it drops into one of the glasses filled with beer. When it is your turn, you do the same. If the ball lands inside the glass of the opponent team, one of their members has to drink the content of the glass and then remove it from the table. The team which is able to get all the glasses removed first on the opponent's side wins. So as you see the game is indeed very simple and fun too.
