- 1). Prepare the soft pretzel according to the instructions, if using. Allow soft pretzel to cool completely. Put it in the refrigerator to make it more solid.
- 2). Cut a length of twine long enough to make a large loop around your neck (between 24 and 36 inches). Lay it flat on a table or counter top.
- 3). Thread the twine through the loops of one of the hard pretzels, going over and under so that the pretzel lays flat. Cut two small pieces of colored ribbon and tie them tightly on either side of the pretzel, securing it to the twine. Repeat with the soft pretzel, then the other hard pretzel
- 4). Triple knot the ends of the twine and slip the necklace over your head.
