Epson R220 Printer Won't Show Which Cartridge Is Empty
- 1). Turn the printer on by pressing the "Power" button. When turned on, look at the screen on the right hand side. It should tell you what ink cartridge is low or out of ink. If it does not, proceed to Step 2. If it does, replace that ink cartridge.
- 2). Remove all paper from the paper tray. Attempt to print a page or document. In the right corner of the task bar, a printer icon will be displayed. Double-click the icon to open the print cartridge information screen.
- 3). Click or hover over the ink colors displayed on the screen. Once clicked or hovered over, a percentage will be displayed. The percentage represents how full the cartridge is. This will help you determine which cartridge or cartridges need to be replaced.
- 4). Click the "X" button in the upper right corner to close out the screen.
