Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Yamm Villa Resort is now open on the eastern shores of Sir Bani Yas Island, in Abu Dhabi. The island was originally developed as a wildlife reserve to ensure the survival of Arabia’s endangered species by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, (the late founder and president of the United Arab Emirates). Anantara Sir Bani Yas Al Yamm Villa Resort is composed of 30 island villas:

·         21 one-bedroom beach villas with uninterrupted views of the Arabian Sea;

Design

The resort features sustainable design elements in tune with the island’s ecosystem. Inspired by traditional Arabic fishing and pearl diving villages, interiors incorporate exposed wood beams and local elements such as coral and shells from the ocean floor.

 

Activities

Adventure opportunities include wildlife drives and nature walks, kayaking among the mangroves, horseback riding, mountain biking, and scuba diving and snorkeling in the Arabian Gulf.
