Do-It-Yourself Paper Airline Ticket Holders
Paper Weights
- Study the paper considerations and pick the one that best suits your holder. The caliper -- or thickness -- of a sheet of paper may vary from .0032 inches for bond or standard paper, through to .0175 inches for index stock. If the airplane ticket is light and somewhat flimsy, select a heavier paper for the ticket holder. Then measure the airline ticket. For example, if the ticket is 3 inches by 7 inches, make sure your ticket holder is at least 4 inches by 8 inches when it is glued, pasted or stapled into place.
