Dranei

• 1). Pick up the initial quest from Firmanvaar, the shaman trainer at the crash site on Azuremyst Isle, upon reaching level four.
  
  
• 2). Travel to the Sacred Grove northwest of the site to speak to the Spirit of the Vale. Pick up the second part of the quest line.
  
  
• 3). Kill four elemental restless spirits of the earth in the grove, then speak to the Spirit of the Vale again to get the earth crystal.
  
  
• 4). Return the earth crystal to Firmavaar at the crash site to receive the totem and learn the stoneskin and strength spells.
  
  

Orcs and Trolls

• 1). Reach level four and speak to the shaman trainer, Canaga Earthcaller, in Durotar's Valley of Trials. This is the starting area for orcs and trolls.
  
  
• 2). Kill two felstalkers to get hooves for Canaga. Felstalkers live in the cave in the northern area of the Valley. The hooves have a 100 percent drop rate, so you only need to kill two.
  
  
• 3). Give the hooves to Canaga in exchange for the sapta and the next quest.
  
  
• 4). Head south out of the Den to find the hidden path up the mountains. If you have a coordinates add-on, the entrance to the path is at 44, 76. Follow the path to the Spirit Rock and there drink the sapta to see the earth spirits there. Talk to the quest-giver that appears.
  
  
• 5). Take the rough quartz you get from the elemental spirit back to Canaga in the Den to get the totem.
  
  

Tauren

• 1). Reach level four and get the quest from the shaman trainer Seer Ravenfeather in Camp Narache, Mulgore.
  
  
• 2). Walk east of Camp Narache to find Bristleback shamans in the Brambleblade Ravine. Kill them until you get two drops of ritual salve.
  
  
• 3). Give the salve to Ravenfeather to get the sapta and the quest to find Kodo Rock.
  
  
• 4). Head straight east from the well right outside Camp Narache to find Kodo Rock. The coordinates are 53, 80. Drink the sapta and talk to the elemental that appears to get the rough quartz.
  
  
• 5). Return to Ravenfeather with the quartz to get the totem.
