Video: Stretches to Get Curvy Hips

Hi, I'm Sarah, Founder of Pilates By Sarah Luna. In this video, we'll go over stretches to get curvy hips. So, here's a few stretches to help you with your curvy hips. The very first one, we're going to stretch out the piriformis and the gluts. So, you're going to take one leg and cross it over the other leg and let both knees drop down. Now, see if you move these shins out so that they're parallel to each other, stacked right up on top of each other.You're going to use the hand to press down on the knee and then lease yourself up and over into that stretch. So, as you're working on toning your hips, it's also important that they stay flexible and this is a great stretch for doing that. Hold this for about 30 seconds, go ahead and repeat three times and then ease yourself out of it and go ahead and switch sides. Your next stretch, you're going to lay down on your back. So, both knees are bent and in together, go ahead and take the arms out to your side and rotate the lower body all the way over to the side, into the back all the way down through the knee. You want to keep your chest facing up towards the ceiling and have your stomach held in. For a little bit more of intense stretch, go ahead and then take that leg and extend it across and place it down on the floor. You can grab it with the hand if you have a hard time holding it there and then rotate your chest open towards the ceiling. So, you'll feel a stretch all the way on the outside of the leg. Hold for about 30 seconds and repeat three times on each side. So, once again, my name is Sarah Luna, and in this video we went over stretches that give you curvy hips.
