How to Make a Homemade Spicy Veggie Pizza
- 1). Preheat the oven to 420 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the pizza crust from its packaging and place it on a pizza pan with holes. Brush the entire crust with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic, oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on the top and bottom of the crust. Sprinkle authentic Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese on the edge of the crust.
- 2). Spread 1/2 cup of your favorite pizza sauce on the top of the spices. Sprinkle crushed red pepper on the pizza sauce. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese on top of the pizza sauce. Place the cheesy crust in the oven for approximately five minutes or until the cheese just begins to melt and remove the pizza from the oven.
- 3). Dice all the veggies and shred the lettuce. Sprinkle the bell peppers, onions, pepperoncini and jalapeno peppers, mushrooms, and black olives on top of the pizza. Lightly mist the pizza with an olive oil non-stick cooking spray to give the veggies a light crisp. Place it back in the oven for approximately five to seven minutes or until the veggies begin to develop brown edges.
- 4). Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cucumbers. Do not put the pizza back in the oven because the last three ingredients will wilt. Use the pizza cutter to slice the pizza into six pieces. Tightly store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
