How to Make Heart Shaped Candles

Valentine's Day is coming, and a great gift to give to your loved ones on this day is an easy and simple heart shaped candle to show how your love burns on and on.
You don't need a lot of experience to make this craft, and it's a great gift to give.
First, you will need all of your supplies.
You will need a double boiler pan to melt the wax, wax, dye or fragrance if desired, wax, wick, and a heart shaped candle mold, which you can usually find online or in most craft stores.
Once your supplies are collected, the second thing you will want to do is to melt the wax in the double boiler pot.
Once the wax is melted, you can then remove it from the heat and stir in your dyes and fragrances.
Be sure that this is done with adult supervision, and you may want to wear potholders or gloves as an extra safety precaution.
When the wax is ready, the third step is to pour it into the mold and insert the wick.
Depending on what type of mold you are using, you may need to pre-treat the mold with a special releasing spray so the wax does not stick to the sides.
Allow the wax to cool for at least 12 hours, or longer depending on what is recommended according to the manufacturer on the directions.
The longer you wait, the less likely you will encounter problems and it will greatly reduce the risk of the candle not being fully finished.
Now you're done! All you need to do is wrap it or tie a special note on it and give it to the one you love!
