Bangalore, August 6, 2014: The Bangalore Chapter of National Human Resource Development Network (NHRD Network), an association of HR professionals committed to promoting the HRD movement in the country, is inviting nominations from the companies across segments for the upcoming HR Showcase.
About 50 corporate, 10 start-up firms and 10 researchers will present different real-life HR case scenarios and studies which have benefited their organizations as well as their employees in the recent past. Based on the value-addition to the firm and the employee and the factual contribution to the revenue, the Jury, comprising of eminent personalities will judge the entries.
6 of the finalists will receive the Jury Award and One Audience Award of a prize money of Rs. 1 lakh each and similarly 1 start-up firm and 1 researcher will receive Rs. 50,000 prize money upon successful selection by the Jury.
The focus of NHRD Titan HR Showcase is to bring out the best HR practices and showcase them. Professionals can learn from the experience of other organizations, and innovate within their own firms. It will be an event which will host countless time tested ideas which will benefit the industry, said Balachandar N, Vice President, NHRD Network Bangalore Chapter.
The last date for filing nominations is August 9, 2014.
Commenting on the event, Sudheesh Venkatesh, President, NHRD Bangalore chapter said, NHRDs main objective is to help exchange good HR practices across organizations and help businesses grow. We are happy to receive several nominations already. The showcase will also help professionals network with peers and compete for the coveted awards.
NHRD Titan HR Showcase, 2014 will be held on Sep 19 & 20 at Brigade MLR Convention Centre, Whitefield, Bangalore which will host HR professionals from across the country. Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, one of the world's pre eminent thought leaders, executive coach and author of 30 bestsellers will deliver an address at the Showcase.
NHRD is expecting to receive over 200 nominations within the last date.
