  Baton Rouge has four venues that feature comedy performances. While The Funny Bone is the city's major comedy club, additional comedy performances occur regularly at Perks Coffee & Tea, Roux House and Boudreaux & Thibodeaux's Bar and Club.
  
  

The Funny Bone Comedy Club

• The Funny Bone is the premier comedy club in Baton Rouge. The club features nationally known comedians, as well as local acts. The Funny Bone is open Thursday through Friday. There is a second late shot at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Boudreaux & Thibodeaux's Bar and Club

• Boudreaux & Thibodeaux's Bar and Club hosts "The Laugh Attic" on Tuesday nights. It is an open mic night for stand-up comedians. Howard Hall, a local comic featured on HBO Showcase and BET's "Comic View" hosts the weekly event. Hall operates Salami Vice Comedy Productions, a company that promotes local and national comedic performances in Baton Rouge.

Perks Coffee & Tea

• On Friday nights, Perks hosts "The Family Dinner" improvisational comedy troupe. The troupe performs sketches, musical comedy and stand-up routines. The troupe started in 2002 at Louisiana State University.
