Carly Rae Jepsen surges up to #2 just barely failing to knock Gotye out of the top spot.
"Somebody That I Used To Know" is #1 for a sixth big week. Rihanna is only three notches away from adding to her collection of more than 20 top 10 hits with "Where I Have You Been." Usher's "Scream" looks like another big hit for him with a big 10 spot jump to #15 this week.

For the first time in album chart history, one former American Idol contestant, Carrie Underwood, turns over the top of the album chart to another one, Adam Lambert. It is now three consecutive weeks at the top of the chart for Idols. Comedy band Tenacious D earn their best chart placing yet as Rize of the Fenix, opening at #4, eclipses the #8 opening fo the last album The Pick Of Destiny. Glee'sGraduation Album manages to open in the top 10, but it is the weakest performance yet for an album of songs from the show.

Gotye finally knocks fun. off the peak of the radio airplay chart this week. In the week that they are the top debut with "One Thing," boy band One Direction surges back into the top 5 with their previous hit "What Makes You Beautiful." Gym Class Heroes are looking like they may ultimately earn three top 10 radio hits in a row with "The Fighter" vaulting up another seven notches this week to #25 and looking very strong.
