    Connecting the Water Supply Line

    • 1). Turn the tap on the supply line to flush it into an empty bucket. Turn the water off again.

    • 2). Remove the cap from the refrigerator's water inlet valve. Push the brass compression nut and then the sleeve, or ferrule, on the copper supply line.

    • 3). Slide the water inlet valve and copper tubing together. Pull the ferrule into the valve and tighten the nut with your finger. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the nut a half-turn.

    • 4). Unscrew the clamp from the back of the refrigerator. Slip the copper tube inside the clamp and replace the screw.

    • 5). Create a coil of the excess tubing behind the refrigerator

    • 6). Turn on the water supply valve again. Look for any leaks. If you see leakage, use the wrench to tighten the connectors.

    Install the Refrigerator

    • 1). Plug the refrigerator into the wall. Carefully slide the appliance into position, being careful not to damage the floor.

    • 2). Level the refrigerator from side to side. It should tilt back slightly so that the doors close properly. To make adjustments, use a screwdriver to raise or lower the front rollers. Turning the screw clockwise raises the rollers; turning it counterclockwise lowers them.

    • 3). Slide the toe grill into position on the base of the refrigerator. Push the clips that hold it in place into position. Some models come with the toe grill already in place, but you may need to remove it to access the front rollers to level the refrigerator. To remove the grill, release the clips and slide the toe grill away from the refrigerator.

    • 4). Remove the tape inside the refrigerator that holds all the shelving in position during transit./

    Operating Instructions

    • 1). Set the temperature controls for the fridge and freezer. Leave the doors closed as much as possible to allow the refrigerator to cool the food efficiently. Once the refrigerator is cold, stock it. Adjust the temperature controls as necessary to keep food at optimal storage temperatures.

    • 2). Arrange shelving by raising the empty shelf while pulling out on it to remove the shelf. Hook the shelf into the appropriate height shelf support opening and push down on it to reinstall it.

    • 3). Let the icemaker operate for at least a day. Dump the initial batches of ice because there may be impurities in the fridge's water line.

    • 4). Push the appropriate button on the door panel for ice cubes or crushed ice. A red light indicates your selection.

    • 5). Press and hold the control lock button for three seconds to activate it. This prevents usage of the ice and water dispenser, especially by young children.

    • 6). Replace the water filter when the indicator light indicates it's time. Push the filter button to release its cartridge. Pull out the old filter and slide a new one into position. Push the cartridge back into position until it snaps. Hold the reset button until the "Good" status shows.
