103 33
It is not uncommon for an employee to sign up and work for several staffing agencies.
You will see candidates often do this.
They do this to secure work for themselves.
The fact is you cannot blame them.
Many staffing agencies at one point or another will not be able to offer full time work to candidates.
What ends up happening is clients are aware of this and make the agencies compete against each other.
This is not a position you want to be in.
Finding clients under this scenario creates a financial burden on the staffing agencies.
New staffing agencies entering the arena may not be aware of this situation and begin to market facilities only to find that they get rejected.
You may be getting rejected because your prices are too high.
You may be getting rejected because your staff was already placed on a DNR (Do Not Return) list.
You may be marketing at a sight that is receiving kickbacks and not realize it.
In this case you have two choices to make to make sure you secure the possibility to getting accounts.
One: You drop your prices and reduce your overhead to compete in this market.
Two: You contact the administrator of the hospital bring forth your case.
I prefer the first possibility.
Why? You get your feet in the door and then you can make more money on the backend fees.
Backend fees are those fees you charge for covering shifts that are after hours or different modalities.
