- 1). Contact an analyst with the Chase Credit Card Service Department by phone at 800-334-0601. Press "1," followed by "2," then "1" again.
- 2). Enter your nine-digit Social Security number for a status update. If an update is not immediately available and you want to know why or you wish to speak with a customer service agent about your application, press "0."
- 3). Provide the representative with your first and last name, Social Security number, date of birth and mother's maiden name to confirm your identity.
- 4). Visit a local branch to check the status of your Chase credit card application or wait 30 business days for a response to arrive in the mail, if you do not want to call the customer service line.
