- 1). Insert the Windows XP installation CD into your ASUS CD or DVD-ROM.
- 2). Restart the computer to allow it to boot up from the XP CD.
- 3). Press any key when prompted.
- 4). Click "Enter" when presented with the "Welcome to Setup" screen.
- 5). Read the License Terms and Conditions, then press "F8."
- 6). Follow the on-screen prompts to choose settings and download XP.
- 7). Complete the installation and restart your Asus Eee to finalize the XP installation.
